My name is Siva Sankar, a 20-year-old B.Tech student studying
Data Science at KITS College, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. As a passionate
data science student, I am at the beginning of an exciting journey in
programming, Python, and data analysis.
I am learning step by step — understanding how data works, writing cleaner code every week,
and building small projects that turn concepts into real, working solutions.
What I’m Currently Focusing On as a Data Science Student
- Understanding Python fundamentals from the ground up
- Practising basic coding problems to sharpen problem-solving skills
- Learning how data works in real-world scenarios, not just theory
- Building small projects to apply and reinforce what I learn
Why I Believe Every Data Science Student Should Learn by Doing
Books and lectures only go so far. As a data science student, I practice
regularly and build simple projects because hands-on experience is what truly locks in
understanding. Every project I complete teaches me something a textbook never could.
Data Structures — the Foundation Every Data Science Student Needs
Alongside Python, I am studying Data Structures — the backbone of efficient
programming. Whether it is linked lists, stacks, or sorting algorithms, strong fundamentals
make every data science problem easier to solve.
